Both my new granddaughters, Theo and Olive are 6 months old and in need of toy boxes. I built Theo's first, it was designed and built in a day. Working on Olives now, taking a little more time.

Assembled frame and bottom boards. Oak frame, pine bottom, Mahogany plugs hide fasteners.

side and end boards. cedar, planed to thickness and 1/8" bevel on edges for contrast at joints.

Exterior hinges place and mounted, then removed for finish coats. Stain coat of Minwax 'Golden Oak'.

Completed this project today. The second top coat is hardening up. Delivery tomorrow night if completely dry.

The mahogany plugs over the screws turned out nice for contrast.

Safety hinges both sides. Lee Valley special item.

Ready for one of my princesses.
